adidas stan to the sport as the five rings are the Olympics.
It was 1924, when Adolf "Adi" Dassler founded, together with his brother Rudolph, the "Gebrüder Dassler Shulfabrik" and on the occasion of the Amsterdam Olympics, Lina Radke, gold and world record in the 800 plans, she dressed for the first time the shoes with three distinctive stripes.
But international success came with the Berlin Olympics of 1936, when the company of the brothers Dassler sponsored one of the greatest sports icons of all time: Jesse Owens.
In 1947 the Dassler brothers parted, so Adi founded Adidas, while his brother Rudolph gave birth to Puma.
Since then, the adidas brand has become synonymous with sport, in all its forms and disciplines, alongside the great athletes in the conquest of victories and records. They certainly do not need presentation testimonials, belonging to many different sports, that have occurred in the course of the glorious history of the Bavarian: Muhamamad Ali, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Franz Beckenbauer, Beckham, Messi, Derrick Rose and countless others.
The latest technology developed to achieve this ambitious goal is BOOST, a cushioning system for comfort but at the same time an outstanding responsiveness.
adidas has included in the models of the running-toed shoes, such as Energy Boost and Supernova Glide; in 2014 the revolutionary technology enters the world of basketball with the new Crazy Light and D Rose 5.
With Boost, adidas confirmed his Olympic mission: "Impossible is Nothing".
